It is what it is.
Of course it is whatever
Accepting, understanding, dismissive
But why is it that way?

Don't accept without question
There is always a choice
Nothing is what it seems
Everyone has a voice

You are who you are.
Naturally we all are
Intuitive, logical, unyielding
But why are you that way?

Be true to yourself
You must choose to be great
Known or unknown self-power
You can change your fate

I don't care.
It's easier to not care
Affirming, strong, numb
Is it better to not care?

But really you care
Else you wouldn't say
Don't lie to yourself
Accept things aren't okay

It's all good.
There's good everywhere
Optimistic, positive, oblivious
Is all of it really that good?

The good with the bad
They must co-exist
Never one without the other
Accept both to persist

Life is what you make
Remember to give what you take
Your life is what you alone decide
So put aside your pride
Step outside yourself to learn
Follow what your heart yearns
Work hard and grow
Understand trumps know
Become who you are deep down
What goes around, comes back around
