Irresistible

April 26, 2010 - 12:23

You think you can stay away
You want to keep yourself at bay
You don't want to get involved
You're busy trying to evolve
You prefer your time alone
You don't want to wear cologne
You like your simple life
You don't really need a wife

But there's something about her
She possesses quite the allure
Her eyes reveal an intensity
Underlying depth and density
She's educated and intelligent
Her words mean something relevant
She has personality to spare
She even knows what to wear

She can talk all night and day
Wanting to make love in every way
Her elegance and grace define style
She is willing to walk the extra mile
But she demands honesty and respect
A small price for support without neglect
She cares about more than herself
She's not impressed by cars or wealth

She's independent and doesn't need you
Which means you're one of very few
To be let in and know who she is
No run around and it's not just fizz
And she's not above an apology
So rare maybe it's destined astrology
She's patient, listens, and understands
Good spontaneous or sticking to the plan

And so she has the right mind
Besides a sexy little behind
A beauty unique and all her own
Ready for you to make her moan
So she just pulls you right in
She decides when to begin
Her smile makes you laugh
Together you two can craft

Maybe something special you can build
To complement each other and feel filled
Or maybe it's just a moment to pass
On the road of life a needed stop for gas
Great things don't always last forever
But the best leave marks you remember
To help you make your days and nights better
With lessons learned that make you clever

Either way you cannot say no
You'll try just to discover and know
Besides it's too late to walk away now
But it doesn't mean you'll exchange vows
Take each moment as it comes and goes
Times will be high and there will be lows
Inevitably you can do nothing to resist
Life it seems has taken a real twist
