You Can, Can You
You think you know
You believe you can go
The world is yours
You can win all wars
Do all you dream
But make no one scream?
Do nothing but win
Of course committing no sin
But at what cost
The price: you have lost
To win, a loss
You're never your own boss
You try and fail
No wind in your sail
Pick up the pieces
Iron your shirt, no creases
Get your mind right
Your clothes, not too tight
The motto: keep trying
Inside you feel like dying
Fight through the pain
In every loss, there's gain
It takes a toll
Can you perform this role?
But really can you?
Start to make yourself anew?
Make high from low
Because you believe it so?
But can you?
No, you cannot do
You wish it didn't hurt
Well you can't feeling like dirt
Actions speak louder than all words can
Tomorrow will always come, become a better man
Collection of poems I've written over the years.
